Personal Statement on Practicing Law
“I became an attorney to be an activist against issues of injustice and to provide for my family. The websites I see generally tout major financial wins. Equally important to me is the substance of the issues pursued. I’ve been lucky to work on many cases which not only have major potential financial value but the chance to have some impact on public policy or public health care.”
“My Father, Dr. David Vroon, was a physician and leader in public health care in Atlanta. He had significant concerns about the commercialization of medicine. My work in representing whistleblowers in health care fraud cases is a product of his influence.”
“All these motivations have led me to the work I do now which is primarily focused on representing whistleblowers in health care fraud cases.”
